Michelle is a self taught artist living in Atlanta, Georgia. Her paintings are built from layers of transparent washes of various water-soluble mediums. Her process relies heavily on water to carry the pigments so that they mix on the canvas, creating new beautiful colors, runs and bleeds Delicate linework peeks from within the layers which is created with graphite and wax pastels. Overall, it is a very intuitive process and the most beautiful moments are often driven by the paint's capabilities, not the artist’s. Michelles fascination with paint and pigment drives her creative process.

When she is not in the studio, she enjoys tending her garden and being out in nature with her sweet family.
